Identity, Privilege and Intersections in Higher Education

The goal of this program area of research is to examine how alliances and networks can be established to promote and advance exemplary intersectional scholarship and develop collaborative projects that may foster resources and financial commitments for institution building. Paramount to this exploration of social and institutional change is intellectual collaboration as an institutional intervention. This characteristic is highlighted through the work of CRGE. Additional areas of research will focus on reflecting new ways of knowing, the production of new knowledge’s, their dissemination through pedagogy, and the development of the next generation of scholars, who will continue the struggle for the work of social justice and social change within the work of institution-building.
